Bike Hire & Merchandise

We are open for casual bike hire by arrangement. Although we do try and stay open during the warmer months.

It is best to give us a phone call or an email before coming in.

If you can give us your heights in advance we can have the bikes ready for you when you arrive

We are also open for organised tours. Please contact us for enquiries and bookings.

We offer a range of bikes,from regular pedal power bikes and e-bikes designed for the Rail Trail or for cycling around the town sightseeing, right through to mountain bikes, mountain e-bikes and pedal assist mountain e-bikes suitable for the Naseby Forest and for gravel roads.

We are located at 32 Charlemont Street, Ranfurly.

What sort of bikes are available?

We have a variety of bikes

For the rail trail we have Avanti Discovery 3's in a range of sizes from small to XL. These are available in regular "pedal power" or e-bike. These bikes have a step through design that some find easier to mount and dismount. We also now have 2 extra low bar e-bikes.

We also have a more "mountain bike" style e-bike, for the trail or gravel if you prefer with a higher bar.

Coming to our fleet this year are a set of hard tail Scott Scale 965 mountain bikes and a set of Trek Rail 7 ebikes and 2 Trek Fuel exe8's

What about the kids?

We have a range of options for the kids.

Children or those of smaller stature will enjoy the Black Thunder or the Shadow models.

For younger ones who can sit up and pedal but not ride independently, we have tag-along bikes. Some times also called half-bikes, these attach to one of the adult bikes, with the child being towed along and doing as much or as little pedaling as they wish.

Buggies (which are towed behind an adult bike) suit youngsters too young to ride independently but too old or heavy for a child seat. These are equipped with all weather covers and seat belts.

We also have child seats. These attach firmly to the bike of an adult.

What sort of extras are available?

Each bike is supplied with a helmet, a rear pannier bag (ideal for carrying lunch, clothing etc), a handlebar pannier bag (perfect for holding your water bottle, sunscreen and camera), cycle computer and a puncture repair kit.

We even provide a gel seat to help make life a bit more comfortable.
